TL;DR I am headed out to travel the world, if you think I should sleep on your couch for a few nights let me know 🙂

In the last two weeks my life has been turned upside down… My best friend for the last 9 years has made a (graceful) exit from my life (Lindsay and I broke up).

The breakup was not angry, just that over the last several month’s we have start to drift apart, so maybe this is the right thing for us. I have moved into the guest bedroom / my office so things are not super awkward, but its still a little strange.

I am getting out of my lease asap, and I am going to be spending some time traveling around the country and the world. I made some plans for the next 2 months:

Montréal – Work trip, I will be there from June 27th to July 5th
Portland – I am going to take the train from Milwaukee so that should be interesting, I am leaving a few days after I get back from Montréal and staying there until I head down to SF
San Francisco – Getting in on July 29 and staying until Aug 16th

I should be having a lot of fun, I feel like I might have already done too much planning :). I will be spending the winter somewhere warm – and if think there is somewhere I need to check out just let me know!

PS I am not really moving back in with my parents, but that will at least be my mailing address while I am wandering around.
